{"id":83,"date":"2010-04-19T17:52:27","date_gmt":"2010-04-19T22:52:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/pcoassociates.wordpress.com\/?p=83"},"modified":"2010-04-19T17:52:27","modified_gmt":"2010-04-19T22:52:27","slug":"more-on-strategic-alignment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/pcoassociates.com\/blog\/more-on-strategic-alignment","title":{"rendered":"More on Strategic Alignment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of our business partners raised a good question about reaching potential users of alignment services.\u00a0 His observation was that several potential clients had suggested they could handle the challenge of strategic alignment on their own and didn\u2019t see the need for a consultant since it\u2019s \u201cjust\u201d a matter of communication.\u00a0 His question was, \u201cHow can we help them see the value of using our software and consulting services to solve alignment challenges?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There are several answers to the question, but there are\u00a0a couple of critical responses that need to work into the conversation.\u00a0 First, given that over the last fifteen years two major studies confirmed that two thirds\u00a0of strategic change initiatives in North American businesses fail, why does the potential client believe they\u2019re different?\u00a0 What experience does the client\u00a0have regarding\u00a0successful change?\u00a0 Second, given that successful change involves clear and concise communication, clarity of expectations and elimination of assumptions and ambiguity, what technology does the potential client have available to ensure that expectations are accurately captured, communicated, and tracked to completion?<\/p>\n<p>What experience does PDS Group LTD have?
